History of Hello Kitty part 2

1988 The cris cross background is back, this background was a favourite around the world. In the US , CBS television began the first Hello Kitty cartoon called " Hello Kitty's Fairytale

Theatre " .

In 1989, a Hello Kitty comic series went on sale in the US, which attracted many more fans.

In 1990, the backgrounds had snow and rain drops. Hello Kitty became even more popular around Christmas, with a santa-like costume and snowy background.

In this year, the Sanrio Puroland theme park opened

aswell ! ^_^

In 1991, a flower series was designed. This attracted alot of female fans in a click ! <3

 In 1992, a fruit series. The themes were changed upon that time of year.

In 1993, Hello Kitty's bow on her ear changed into a flower, and created a whole new look for Hello Kitty.

  1994, Hello Kitty nurse series.
Hello Kitty was named the child ambassador of UNICEF in Japan. ^_^

1995, Hello Kitty flower designs are back again, with lots of new colours.

1996, More kawaii flower series. ^_^ <3

1997,  a traditional Hello Kitty design. A Hello Kitty mermaid, school girl, beach, and wedding gown design was also created! Mermaid Hello Kitty was the most popular. ^-^

In 1998, Kitty's House theme park opened. It attracted over thousands of visitors everyday!

1999, Kitty baby series. The series was created because of a strong request from young mothers who have been loyal fans to Hello Kitty since her debut.



TODAY we have a Hello Kitty everything! Designs are endless! ^_^ <3
